Support Amnesty International's work to protect what we take for granted: Living freely. Thank YOU!

Story

Hi there!

The last and final days of my fundraising for an amazing cause....

My goal is to raise awareness for how privileged we are to enjoy guarantee and protection of the most basic rights and to be able to live freely!! Cheers to the important and wonderful work the human rights organisation Amnesty International does, standing up for those who are not as privileged as we are and live in danger and fear... They need our support!

I admire the work of Amnesty International and by helping them with my charity fundraiser I would like to inspire or remind people to be grateful for what we often take for granted: The privilege of being able to live life freely in a country where human rights are guaranteed and protected. I would like to encourage you to look at the Big Picture and realize, how important it is to support organisations like Amnesty International Australia who have been fighting for human rights injustices around the world with great success since 1961.

To support local charities is important, however to support international groups like Amnesty who do amazing work globally, is equally important! Look at the big picture and get involved to make this world a better place.

Come on board and get involved in this noble cause! You can help to make this world a better place!

This is how your donation can help Amnesty International Australia to make a difference:

$35 - can help action groups to mobilise the Australian public to stand up against human rights abuses

$50 - can help investigate the cases of prisoners jailed simply for their beliefs, and protect those at imminent risk of torture, ill-treatment or execution.

$100 - can help collect testimonies from survivors and families affected by human rights violations.

$250 - can help organise public events for urgent human rights issues and bring them to the attention of national and international media.

$500 - can help fund research missions to areas of conflict and crisis and launch vital campaigns.

Every single dollar will make a difference and even $5, $10, $20 will be greatly appreciated! It might seem a bit crazy to have set my goal so high and aiming to raise $5,555 for Amnesty but I strongly believe I can reach it. Get involved and be part of it!

Thank you so so so much for your support! It does mean a lot to me.
